WebTerm X and X Windows

WebTerm X - Embedded X Clock

A live Xclock embedded in your Web Browser

What you are looking at
You are looking at an Xclock session running on an Unix PC New Hampshire over a secure SSH connection. This X window is embedded in the Web browser. In other words, the X window application is completely contained in the Web page while all data, including login and password are seamlessly secured through the integrated SSH tunnel of TunnelMate..

The benefits for your organization
Imagine being able to embed a single window X client application in your user's Web pages, with no effort at all on their part. You could place monitoring applications, simple editors, database front ends, or any other X Window application you currently use. All of this, deployed on a Web page, with no Java re-writes, right out of the box. Users have no configuration responsibilities.

The next stop on the tour shows the X Windows application "Xcalc" that starts as a button on your web page, but can then be launched in an detached window, separate from the web browser.
