Support - WebTerm X - secure connections

WebTerm X Frequently Asked Questions

Does WebTerm X provide for secure connections?

WebTerm X will soon be providing integrated SSH & SSL via the forthcoming TunnelMate 2.0 SSH/SSL client to provide direct support for security, such as encryption or authentication, beyond that which is provided by the REXEC, RSH, XDM and Telnet connection protocols.

For now, any third party security that works with the these protocols should work with WebTerm X. For example, F-Secure by Data Fellows has been tested to work with WebTerm X.  F-Secure provides a SSH proxy server for TCP/IP (REXEC, RSH, and Telnet) port forwarding.  For more information see the FAQ Configuring F-Secure and WebTerm X for Transparent Security
