WebTerm X's minimum requirements are listed below.  For better performance, it is recommended to use a faster system such as Pentium processor.

A computer with a 120 MHz Pentium processor and at least 16 MB ROM.  More memory and a faster processor are recommended.

  • Windows 95/98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 operating system.
  • A TCP/IP connection to UNIX or VMS hosts running X client applications.  IN addition, the host computers and any intervening routers and firewalls must also allow access via the REXEC, RSH, or XDMCP protocols.
  • A 32-bit Web browser that fully supports the Netscape Plug-in API.  Specifically, one of the following:
  • Netscape Navigator: Version 4.5 or later.
