How can I change the connection type?
The type of X connection (REXEC, RSH, or XDM) is determined when the session is created. You need to use the WebTerm X Administrator to create a new connection of the type desired. The WebTerm X Administrator would also need to "hard code" any required settings if desired, such as entering an IP address of a Host. If a required settings field is left blank when the session is created the end user will be prompted to enter the information when the session is run.
