WebTerm Frequently Asked Questions

I upgraded to Internet Explorer 5.5 sp2 or later and now my page won't work?

Microsoft has decided to drop support for "plug-in" technologies with the advent of Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2. (SP2) and continued this decision with Internet Explorer 6.0.. You should be fine using WebTerm as an Active X control instead by using the default embed tags WebTerm works both as a Microsoft Active X control, and as a Netscape plug-in for Netscape users.
The only issue will be loading a .wts session file directly into Internet Explorer. If you need full screen support, keep the session file embedded in the html, but for the width and height use percentages instead of fixed sizes. Example, width="100%" height="100%" This will enable the session to run embedded, yet be a fully resizable full page session.
