What are the changes made between version 1.5 and version 1.5.1?

Point release changes made to version 1.5.1:

  • The WebTerm product and all of its components are now branded as Powerlan USA, Inc.
  • A new public method has been added that makes it easy for scripts to ascertain the running version of WebTerm.  The method GetVersion() takes no parameters, and returns a string describing the version.
  • Support the new Macintosh models and the Apple Pro Keyboard had been added.
  • Default html now points to Powerlan web server's URLs.
  • Default html now includes better JavaScript comments for Internet Explorer event handlers.
  • Default html now includes JavaScript for over-riding Windows Help while in Internet Explorer.  (See FAQ about Editing JavaScript to Over-Ride Windows Help for Internet Explorer)
  • Netscape Signing Tool 1.3 now used for JAR file.  (See FAQ about JAR downloading issue for Macintosh users)
  • The issue with certain macros not working within version 1.5 is now resolved.  Download version 1.5.1.
  • WebTerm can now inhibit 3270E sessions.  (See FAQ about inhibiting 3270E)
  • Issue with 5250 sessions receiving embedded null error message has been resolved.  
  • Issue with AS/400 FTP client not performing properly has been resolved.
  • Issue with the delete key in 5250 emulation has been resolved.
  • Issue with 3270 "Erase To Address" function has been resolved.
  • Macintosh USB keyboards are now properly displayed and can be remapped.
  • In 3270 emulation, cursor attribute changes are now properly displayed and can be remapped.
  • In 3270 emulation, cursor attribute changes are now persistent.
  • Optimizations were made to 132-column "auto-sized" printing for VT-420 emulation.
