WebTerm Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I get a JavaScript error while using WebTerm?

JavaScript Errors are generated when your browser is unable to correctly interpret the JavaScript in the .htm file. there are several possible causes:
- You have disabled Java or JavaScript languages in your browser.
- Your browser does not support JavaScript (such as Netscape Navigator version prior to version 3.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer version prior to version 4.0. While Internet Explorer version 3.0 to version 3.0.2 did support JavaScript, it did not support JavaScript's LiveConnect which was required to automate WebTerm.)
- Your browser is Navigator version 3.0.3, version 3.0.4 or Communicator version 4.0 where JavaScript's LiveConnect did not work.
- The JavaScript in the .htm file is incorrect for the browser type and version that is being used.
