Support - eXodus - nothing happens with SSH connection

eXodusFrequently Asked Questions

I download TunnelMate and I am trying to connect using SSH and nothing happens.

10.1 final candidate changed the SSH library version. Open a console (applications-utilities-console) window as you connect and you will receive a mismatch error.  TunnelMate 1.01 was created to fix it.  It is now on the website, just download it again TunnelMate Installer.

If the console window gives the following message:"couldn't read entropy commands file /private/etc/ssh_prng_cmds: No such file or directory"  That file is not present on a 10.1 clean install, but is present in an upgrade.  TunnelMate 1.01 needs this file.

You can take that file from another system or download it from here in bin-hex format. You need to be root to place it there see how to become root.

If the console window gives the following message:"couldn't read entropy commands file /private/etc/ssh_prng_cmds error in line 2".  That file we sent has bad carriage returns and line feeds. VI or use a unix utility to correct it.  The file has about 7 lines of text and can look fine in simple text, but still be wrong.
