Does eXodus support the DGL (Distributed Graphics Library) Extension?
eXodus does not support the (DGL) Extension. The Distributed Graphics Library, which uses the DGL extension, is SGI's proprietary hardware-dependent graphics library. Unfortunately, Macintosh's are not included in the library of supported hardware.
The non-proprietary hardware-independent version of SGI's graphics library is OpenGL, which uses the GLX Extension and is included in eXodus. OpenGL and DGL are not interchangeable.
