Support - eXodus - Problems setting default modifier mapping

eXodusFrequently Asked Questions

What does "XView warning: Problems setting default modifier mapping" mean?

The likely cause of this warning is that the application is trying to set a key modifier that exists on the host keyboard but is not supported by eXodus since there is no corresponding key modifier on the Macintosh Keyboard.

Key modifiers are shift, alt, control, caps lock, etc...

You can find out which key modifier the X client is trying to set form a log.
This is only a warning and is not usually a problem for the client application.
