Does eXodus support the X input Extension?
The XInputExtension is used with special case input devices, such as 3D track balls. It is currently not supported by eXodus. If you receive an alert message:
xlib: extension "XInputExtension" missing on display <system running eXodus>
It indicates that your X application has determined that eXodus does not support XInputExtension.
However, this alert does not necessarily mean that your X application requires XInputExtension. We recommend that you acknowledge the alert and proceed with running the application to determine if the X applications usability is effected. To date, we do not know of any mainstream applications that require this extension. If you determine that your application requires XInputExtension please contact technical support.
