Why does my X client application not display properly in Rootless mode?
When eXodus is in rootless mode, reparent notify events are not generated when a top-level window is mapped, as there is no "root" window. The Send Reparent Notify Event When Window Is Mapped option will cause the reparent notify event to be generated. Some X applications (such as Oracle) will not work correctly without these events.
