eXodus Frequently Asked Questions

How do I copy/paste using Sun's OLWM?

The Macintosh keyboard does not have Sun keys. However, you can copy and paste with the use of the mouse and menus. eXodus simulates a three-button mouse with key strokes. If you have a three-button mouse, the control panel allows you to map key strokes to the actual mouse buttons. IF you are using xterm highlight the text you want to copy using the mouse and then it is copied to the clipboard. Mouse button two, or the equivalent key stroke, will paste the text. If you are in the Command Tool press mouse button three, or the equivalent key strokes, to bring up the Term Pane Window. You can copy and paste within the window. As a default within eXodus mouse button one is defined as mouse down. Mouse button two is Command two and button three is command three. You can verify this or change the key strokes under Settings Modifier keys.
