Support - 5PM Term - Macintosh system lockup

5PM Term Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Macintosh lock up after a period of time?

The likely cause of a lock up is that the Macintosh has run out of system resources.

To prevent system lock-ups:

  • Do not leave unused terminal session running.

  • Close other applications that are not being used.

  • Allocate more memory to 5PM Term (recommend 1200K per open session)

  • Upgrade your system.
